Advancing infantry of the New Zealand Division and Whippet tanks of 3 Battalion advancing through Mailly-Maillet. Some of the tanks had been in action earlier in the day and were the first Whippet tanks to be engaged. Whippet Tanks of the 3rd Battalion at Maillet-Mailly, 26th .March 1918, some of which had been in action earlier in the day and were the first Whippet Tanks to be in action.
